Villa Piercy is a splendid mansion built by Benjamin Piercy in the second half of the 19th century near Bolotana, a small town of the center of Sardinia. Benjamin Piercy was a Welsh civil engineer that developed railway lines in Wales, Sardinia, France and India.
His bond with Sardinia was very strong, such that his family spent wide periods of their lives in Villa Piercy and Sardinia, where some of his descendants still live today.
